KUBANA will have its special avant-premiere at the Kigali Cine Junction Festival on July 24, 2026, in Kigali, Rwanda - in the presence of the director, cast and crew. The film begins its public life where it was made: in front of a Rwandan audience.
Founded in 2023 by Imitana Productions, Kigali Cine Junction is on a mission to revive cinema-going culture in Rwanda, with public screenings and the restoration of Kwa Mayaka, Kigali’s oldest cinema.
